Will Hanisch grew up in Northfield, Minnesota. He was surrounded by a family of entrepreneurs.  This background encouraged him to earn his undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management from Drake University in 2010.

Will moved to Colorado to attend the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law.  While in law school, he tailored his law school curriculum toward developing a strong client focused practice.  As a student attorney with the University of Denver Civil Litigation Clinic he practiced in various areas of civil litigation.  He then moved to Pueblo and was a certified intern advocating under the Student Practice Act for the Colorado State Public Defender.

After law school, Will worked for the Colorado State Public Defender, practicing extensively in Adams and Morgan County.  Will handled a wide range of criminal matters including DUI’s, assaults, and drug related offenses.  The Public Defender helped continue to foster a client centered legal practice.  During Will’s time with Colorado State Public Defender, he tried over 20 jury trials and handled over 1,300 cases.  Will successfully completed the Colorado State Public Defender’s felony advocacy readiness training “Boot Camp”.

Will continued to develop his practice as an Associate Attorney at the law firm of Campbell, Latiolais, & Averbach, LLC.  With the experience gained from the firm, Will developed his skills in the civil arena.  He specialized in insurance defense, small business liability defense, landlord tenant disputes, civil rights violations, and third party civil cases.

Since founding Hanisch Law LLC., Will has focused on assisting entrepreneurs with business formation, contract drafting, and thorough liability analysis.  He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Community College of Aurora Entrepreneurship Incubator. In addition to traditional transactional law, Will has worked with several YouTube personalities and assisted them with everything from development contracts to negotiating talent acquisition contracts.

In addition to his legal practice, Will founded and developed Credit Time Served (CTS) a custom date aggregator. Will has an intimate understanding of the process of small business formation and development.
